Access to high quality health and social care is a human right. We will:

• work with local NHS services to protect and enhance provision
• collaborate with the NHS and the Council’s adult social care services in ways which help residents to access what they need, when they need it
• help residents to understand and contribute to consultations about local health and social care services in order to make their voices heard
• campaign to make adult social care free at the point of use, just like the NHS
