An Evening with Green Peer Natalie Bennett

All are welcome at our evening with Natalie Bennett, Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle, one of our two Green Peers. This is one of our open meetings, so you are welcome to bring family or friends with you and share the invitation with those who you think might be interested in attending.

Natalie was leader of the Green Party in England and Wales from 2012 to 2016. In 2019, she joined Jenny Jones in the House of Lords. Together, they work tirelessly to scrutinise legislation on a wide range of issues.

Natalie has written two books. Her first book called Change Everything is about rethinking, repairing and rebuilding society, and is described as “essential reading” by Zack Polanski. Her second book, very recently published, is Green Thinking, which Peter Frankopan, a Professor of Global History at the University of Oxford, has called “A powerful and timely call to rethink how we understand progress, knowledge and our place in the natural world. Written with clarity, courage and hope, Green Thinking challenges assumptions and inspires new ways of seeing the future.”

The meeting will be held in Merton Arts Space in Wimbledon at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 23 June. Doors will open at 7.15pm. Please RSVP here.
