Years of interference and underfunding has undermined the ability of staff to give our children the best start in life. We will support our nurseries, schools, colleges and universities to exercise professional autonomy and to gain and maintain access to the resources needed to provide excellent educational opportunities, including measures that engender the recruitment and retention of good staff.
