Gideon Tarry

I’m a musician and creative based in London, working as a drummer, lifeguard, and junior assistant for a talent agency.

I grew up in Nottingham and moved to London in 2022 to study at the Academy of Contemporary Music. Throughout my time as a student, I lived across various boroughs, including Wandsworth, Lewisham and Lambeth, and am now happily living in Merton.

I’ve been interested in politics since my teenage years, developing my knowledge through A-Level Politics. I joined the Green Party following the Party Conference in 2025, inspired by its commitment to tackling the climate crisis, improving local communities, and creating a fairer society. I think it’s important for young people to be more involved in politics and for our voices to be heard, as politics is for everyone and is at the heart of everything.

I enjoy swimming and cycling, eating good food, and going for walks in the local area.
