I have lived in London all my life – mainly in and around the Merton borough. I have a varied working background, and am currently in education as a Site Manager.

I was born at St Helier Hospital and have grown up and benefitted from living in a multicultural country.

The politics over the last 20 years have been shameful, where privatisation and austerity have failed the majority and benefitted the 1%. This is not a United Kingdom.

The Green Party offer a change in direction – giving hope and putting people first, tackling the cost-of-living crisis, supporting the environment and switching to sustainable renewable energies, tackling a growing drug addiction problem, and taking back control of our services.

I don’t want another billionaires’ club party running the country anymore. Parties in the shape of the Reform party seek to divide with dangerous propaganda – promoting lies and distributing misinformation for their own personal gain, whilst dividing people of this country.

This country needs to hit the reset button. The Green Party offer to the many and not the few.

I have decided to stand as a Green Party candidate because I care deeply about a fair society, the protection of the environment, and equal opportunities for all.

I am new to the world of politics, but have been supporting the Merton Green Party since I joined in January 2026 as their social media officer. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know many of the amazing volunteers in the party, and it has further proved to me the tenacity and caring nature of those within the Green Party. I am proud to be a very small part of this movement.

I’m proud to stand as a candidate for Merton – the community I’ve called home all my life.

I grew up here, I’ve raised my family here, and like so many of you, I care deeply about our borough and its future.

My journey has always been about standing up for people. From representing workers who lost their livelihoods in 1991, to creating Merton’s first local jobs board, I’ve worked to open up opportunities and support those who need it most.

More recently, I’ve been campaigning for a stronger local democracy. Residents deserve to be heard properly – with real debate, real accountability, and real action.

I’m also proud to be part of our local community, from supporting AFC Wimbledon, to helping grassroots campaigns that brought people together to achieve something bigger.

At my core, I believe something simple: everyone matters.

I’m standing because Merton deserves leadership that listens, acts, and stands up for its people.
