Ryan Letbe-Holder

I’m a homeschooling parent, musician, web developer, and your Green Party candidate for Cricket Green.
I was born in Stepney Green. My mother is a true East Ender; my father is from Trinidad. That mix of cultures has shaped everything about how I see the world. My path has seen me raise two children to adulthood as a young parent, live on a permaculture farm in Spain, and live in Brighton, where I had the pleasure of helping vote in Caroline Lucas as the Greens’ first-ever MP. I’ve now lived in Cricket Green for eight years, and my youngest daughter is growing up here. This is our home.
We, as a society, face a multitude of challenges right now, and the Green Party is the one place where I see sensible ideas around the climate, economy, immigration, and the future of the planet. The wealth hoarded at the top is the same wealth that should be funding green infrastructure, clean air, and properly resourced public services. The people who come to this country to contribute are absolutely necessary for our future. We need to have conversations that offer solutions and hope, rather than blame and isolation.
I’d be proud to be Cricket Green’s voice in those conversations. The solutions to these pressing global issues start in our communities, in the choices that each of us make. Let’s work together for a brighter future. Please vote Green.

I strongly believe the Green Party is the only party offering real change, which is why I am standing as your Green Party candidate.
I am a Chartered Legal Executive predominantly working in the legal aid sector. I specialise in housing and community care issues. I believe my legal background will greatly assist me in my role as your Councillor.
I grew up in Yeovil and studied for my degree in Bristol, before moving to Merton in 2012. I then lived in different areas of South London before moving back to Merton in 2021. I have two young children and live with my partner and German Shepherd/Malinois, Arya, and feel passionately about the community and our planet.
