Pollards Hill

Zainul Abadeen

I am standing to serve the Pollards Hill community and the wider Merton area.

I care deeply about issues affecting everyday life in Pollards Hill and the wider borough, including affordable housing, clean air, safer streets, and better public services. I believe local politics should be rooted in listening to residents and acting on what matters most to them.

If elected, I would work to ensure that community voices are central to decision-making, and that environmental responsibility goes hand in hand with social justice.

Real change begins when we stop speaking about people and start listening to them. Leadership is not about speaking louder; it is about understanding more deeply, and acting when it matters most.

Politics should not be about promises made from a distance, but about decisions grounded in the real lives of the people they affect.
